Diva's Challenge - Week 14

The challenge this week - create your zentangle using straight lines only -  definitely my kind of challenge.  I've always been drawn to the straight line tangles, they seem to dominate my work.  I do like the curves but I find I use them more as seasoning rather than the main dish.  Had to laugh at my first few attempts - little circles and a wave or curve to a line kept creeping in.  This challenge was so much fun I created several - posting 2 here to get started.  Thanks Diva!

Both are great. The first image reminds me of Pick up Sticks!

That's fun and games I thought the same as Terri and then the 2nd one is like a chess board!

O, wow, you made beautiful tiles - I like all the different patterns in the top one.

I love your shading! What do you use? It looks like a wash of some kind...Beautiful work!

Love those challenges, but I am behind. Seeing your tiles is very inspiring. I hope you don't mind, I added your blog to my blog list.

Love how you filled your "lines" in with pattern on your first tangle. The shaded background is great and sets it off. Love the grid on the second tangle.
